Packing and madness: Fundamentals of Moving

After many years of moving between Asia and the UK, UK and the US, a gazillion times within the US, and now from the US to Asia, and Asia to Oz, I definitely equate packing to madness. Madness equates to structured chaos. Structure chaos means you know where everything is. But when you begin to not know where things are, that, is no longer structured chaos. It is what is known as being "super organized". I am now at the next level: the "whatever" mode. This is the greatest state of mind for packing to move. At the end of the day, that thing that you couldn't find? It does show up.
